Home security cameras and surveillance systems can help ensure that you, your family, your pets and your property (both items in the house and your outdoor areas) are kept safe and secure. If someone were to invade your private areas of the home, you will be able to have the crime recorded for police to see and hopefully track down the thieves or the vandals. If you need to keep a watchful eye on children or pets in the home or playing outside, a set of security cameras will give you this piece of mind, knowing what’s happening as you look and listen in.
The Security Cameras Guide understands the importance of knowing which is the right surveillance system for you before you make that purchase. Here is the lowdown on the Sannce 800TVL system for your convenience in making that decision.
The Sannce 800TVL Video Security System
These home security cameras have 800TVL, giving a very high level of resolution in order to be able to actually see faces with a good degree of clarity, even in the dark. The night vision capability of these cameras allows you to view and record from up to 110 feet away in daylight, which is a good distance, especially when you have a long driveway or walkway. Night vision gives you up to 80 feet of visibility, also excellent. The Sannce 800TVL sends you an alert via email if motion activity is noted. You can gain remote access to your camera’s activity via a simple QR Code Scan which is then accessible on a smartphone or computer tablet.
The cameras have a 960H recording resolution with an HDMI port for great viewing results. The 960H resolution is an improvement over the D1 resolution of other cameras. The system has 8 channels and comes with 8 day and night vision cameras for indoors and outdoors.
The cameras have a built-in wide-view lens and are weatherproof. There are 4 outdoor bullet security cameras and 4 dome ones. Included are eight 60-foot power video cables, three 12V2A DC power supplies and two splitter cables.
Installing the Sannce 800TVL is quick and simple with the QR Code Scan. The scan code gives you quick and easy remote contact to your home security cameras by smartphone or computer. You don’t need to be an engineer or computer technician to set this system up as it is very user-friendly.
The Sannce 800TVL vs. The KGuard Security EL821-4HW212B-500G
Both of these systems are in about the same price range. Both offer 960H DVR resolution, a QR code scan setup and HDMI output ports. They also each have email alerts for motion detection which are sent to your remote devices and they both have 8 channels.
The KGuard comes with four 600TVL infrared LED cameras that offer up to 65 feet in night vision distance. This is less than the Sannce’s 80 feet of night vision. Keeping in mind that most crimes and vandalism occur in the dark of night, the Sannce 800TVL has an advantage over the KGuard in this regard. The quality of night vision resolution is not as precise as on the Sannce. Also, more cameras may have to be added to the KGuard to get full visibility of your home and property.
Installation is quite simple with both systems with the QR Scan Code.
On the Plus Side:
The Sannce 800TVL has a lot going for it, especially at its fairly low-range price point. Ease of installation is a big plus, as some home security cameras can be very difficult and time-consuming to get up and running. The app for the QR Code Scan is easily downloaded from the Internet from either a Mac or Android device.
The included remote control to change your cameras’ image views works great.
On the Negative Side:
There have been a few complaints from consumers on the build quality of the cameras themselves. However, the quality of the camera image is reported as decent in the dark, though purchasing an upgraded camera for very dark areas may be in order here. If there is an external ambient light source at night, the shots are much clearer.
The DVR can heat up a bit so keep it in a cool area if possible.
